Welcome to The Nice Cafe/Bookshop.
The Cafe and Bookshop opened on 2nd December 2008 based in Kyleakin Connections and is open on Wednesdays ONLY from 11am - 3pm. It is run by the attenders, staff & volunteers to enable access to training, job opportunities and training for work as well as to add to social skills. The attenders working in their own cafe have achieved an SVQ in Food and Drink Service Level 1 through Skye & Wester Ross College.
As well as second hand books, the cafe serves tea, coffee, hot chocolate, soup, filled rolls and baking.
The Nice Cafe & Bookshop was a pilot cafe/bookshop funded by the Big Lottery Fund.
