Care Commission held an inspection.
Panto - We performed Snow White & the Eight Dwarfs to a full house in Kyleakin, but due to the severe weather, we had to cancel Saturday night. We hope to re-schedule early February 2011. Thank you to all who helped and supported us. The KC Gang did a wonderful performance - well done.

Panto - We performed our panto again on Fri 4th & Sat 5th Feb to a full house. Well done to all involved.
Cookery Workshop - 7 week Cookery Workshop has begun, lead by Dede MacGillivray with involvement from Joey Graham, ABE and John Gordon Health & Happiness. Our attenders gained training in budgeting, shopping, and cooking. The workshop finished with a themed dinner for 35 guests, all prepared and served by our attenders. This project was funded by Health & Happiness.

Fair Trade - KC received an award for using Fair Trade products in our Cafe.
Boccia - a tournament was held in Fort William. Our attenders did very well and David came 3rd.
Circus Skills - we all took part in a circus skills workshop in Inverinate. This was a great experience and very enjoyable.
Wildlife Garden - Scottish Hydro & Craik and MacRae employees gave a day`s volunteering to regenerate our garden.
Lochalsh & Kirkton Women`s Guild - KC was invited to lunch and we give a special KC performance to everyone`s delight.

Cookery Workshop - completed.
Great Wilderness Challenge - KC has entered a team of 8 which includes attenders, staff, volunteers and management and will be one of the local beneficiaries. If you wish to donate please get in touch.
Card Making Sessions - Ishbel Cameron gave two sessions in card making.
Well North - KC have successfully received £2,000 grant from Well North for our "Healthy Living" project which includes, healthy cooking, walking, and yoga.

GWC - all attenders are taking part in training with walks every week.
West Highland College - everyone attended the open day for the new premises of the College, were our attender`s work was on display.
Christmas Wreaths - we have begun to make our rag rugging wreaths which we hope to sell at Christmas.
June 2011
Jubilee People`s Millions - we have reached the final of the JPM and hope to win £60k for our refurbishment of our building. Voting day on the 27th June so please vote for us. STV came to film us for broadcasting on voting day on North Tonight.
Athletics Championships - We took part in Highland Disability Sport`s Athletics Day in Inverness. All our team came home with medals - well done.
Jan Voicey - Sadly, after serving us for over 20 years as a volunteer tutor, Jan is leaving the area and moving to England. We will miss Jan and all the great work she has done with our attenders. Thank you.
